Shortly after booking we will plan a fun day together for engagement photos! I will help choose your ideal location along with the perfect outfits! I want your planning to be a smooth process, so at any time if there is anything I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask! A few months before the big day, I'll send you a questionnaire to get a feel for what you want your day to look like & what photos are top priority. I will also help piece together your day-of timeline to ensure we have plenty of time to enjoy & capture it all! Lastly, we will have one more chat to review all of the deets!

At KLP, we like to work in a more hands-off, laid back, documentary-style approach. While we will of course try to snag a few standard, traditional smiling portraits, it’s ultimately about capturing your family, wedding, or event as it is! It’s all about relaxing, having fun, & celebrating these moments! If there’s laughter, we capture it! If there’s tears, we capture it! Life is short & it’s important for us to embrace the chaos or the calm – whichever life brings us that day. Especially with little ones, the less expectations the better. Let children be children. This creates less stress for the parents and honestly, some of the best lifestyle photographs!
What if I can't get my kids to sit still or smile?

Of course! Your contract included all printing and posting rights! Prints are always available for purchase through your gallery, additional charges do apply. But once you’ve downloaded your images, you are always welcome to print them elsewhere or on your own!

Typically, it’s easy to adapt to all of nature’s elements! But if it’s a full on downpour, or a massive blizzard, it could be a bit of a risk! Unless you want to dance in the rain (which I’m all for!) most don’t want to get soaked during their session. When it comes to inclement weather, we’ll make the call a few hours before to see if we should reschedule or not. If snow or ice causes unsafe travel conditions, rescheduling may be required as well.
What if I need a raindate?

Absolutely! It’s always a heck yes when it comes to furbabies! Feel free to bring your pups along to a session! As an animal lover, I truly enjoy capturing people with their pets. It’s a beautiful connection that should never be forgotten to be documented! I’ve even photographed clients with their horses, cats, bunnies, & hamsters before!

As soon as you’d like! It’s never too early! The only way to secure your date officially is by signing a contract & paying your retainer (50% for sessions, $750 for wedding/elopement package). Most couples book about 1 year in advance for weddings. For sessions, I’d say we’re typically booked out 3 months in advance. If you’re looking to book during the fall season, as that is prime time here in New England, please feel free to reach out ASAP as these dates are first to be booked!
Of course there is occasionally last minute availability, so if you’re on the fence, please feel free to reach out here!

Unfortunately, no! We are a body positive company & believe that bodies should not be artificially manipulated. You are beautiful as you are! We as humans are all imperfectly perfect. Of course, we all have our insecurities & if this is something you’re worried about before your session, please feel free to reach out & I promise that we will find all the right angles, lighting, & postures to help make you feel comfortable & confident!

Kassia is absolutely phenomenal. Not only did she make me feel flawless for my special day, but she made everyone around us comfortable too. What’s there to say?! Well Kassia is awesome! She’s superiorly talented at what she does and extremely creative with the canvas and subjects she’s presented! She takes time to get to know her clientele. She’s thoroughly open to whatever is requested to be captured, however when push came to shove, the show was hers. My fiancé (now wife) and I found that out last fall of 2021 when she took our engagement photos. At first we were very coordinated but once we all got a feel for what we were looking for (natural candidacy) she let Jill and I have the floor, or the woodscape where said photos were taken. It was more of a friendly get together than anything. Her artistic visions and interpretations came full steam with our engagement photo session!
It was more like having a very good friend there with a really fantastic presence and sense of humor than just a “photographer”

We were beyond happy with our entire experience with Kassia! Our wedding date changed due to covid and her flexibility was so helpful in keeping our planning as stress free as it could be. She was professional, fun, and totally up for tromping through the woods with us for our engagement shoot and climbing onto rocks at the beach for our wedding. Neither of us consider ourselves "photogenic" and somehow we came out looking incredible, thanks to Kassia's guidance and her ability to keep us laughing.
