At KLP, we like to work in a more hands-off, laid back, documentary-style approach. While we will of course try to snag a few standard, traditional smiling portraits, it’s ultimately about capturing your family, wedding, or event as it is! It’s all about relaxing, having fun, & celebrating these moments! If there’s laughter, we capture it! If there’s tears, we capture it! Life is short & it’s important for us to embrace the chaos or the calm – whichever life brings us that day. Especially with little ones, the less expectations the better. Let children be children. This creates less stress for the parents and honestly, some of the best lifestyle photographs!

Of course! Your contract included all printing and posting rights! Prints are always available for purchase through your gallery, additional charges do apply. But once you’ve downloaded your images, you are always welcome to print them elsewhere or on your own!

All sessions receive an online gallery delivered via email. Galleries include high resolution, professionally edited images ready for your download! Custom orders and high quality prints are also available for purchase in just a few clicks!

Typically, it’s easy to adapt to all of nature’s elements! But if it’s a full on downpour, or a massive blizzard, it could be a bit of a risk! Unless you want to dance in the rain (which I’m all for!) most don’t want to get soaked during their session. When it comes to inclement weather, we’ll make the call a few hours before to see if we should reschedule or not. If snow or ice causes unsafe travel conditions, rescheduling may be required as well. 

Absolutely! It’s always a heck yes when it comes to furbabies! Feel free to bring your pups along to a session! As an animal lover, I truly enjoy capturing people with their pets. It’s a beautiful connection that should never be forgotten to be documented! I’ve even photographed clients with their horses, cats, bunnies, & hamsters before! 

As soon as you’d like! It’s never too early! The only way to secure your date officially is by signing a contract & paying your retainer (50% for sessions, $750 for wedding/elopement package). Most couples book about 1 year in advance for weddings. For sessions, I’d say we’re typically booked out 3 months in advance. If you’re looking to book during the fall season, as that is prime time here in New England, please feel free to reach out ASAP as these dates are first to be booked!

Unfortunately, no! We are a body positive company & believe that bodies should not be artificially manipulated. You are beautiful as you are! We as humans are all imperfectly perfect. Of course, we all have our insecurities & if this is something you’re worried about before your session, please feel free to reach out & I promise that we will find all the right angles, lighting, & postures to help make you feel comfortable & confident!
